　　《兰花草》在音乐上打破了以往旧上海和传统歌谣的限制，突出作品简单平实、琅琅上口的曲风，还借鉴了大量西洋乐器，融会贯通，创造出一种全新的国语民谣形式，“唱自己的歌”开始风雅一时。
