　　《My Immortal》歌曲简介

　　这首歌最初由Evanescence乐队的前吉他手Ben Moody创作，歌词基于他写作的一篇短小的故事。正如主唱Amy Lee所言：“《My Immortal》是Ben Moody的歌!”。

　　这首歌前后存在着数个不同的版本。最早的demo版本录制于1997年，收录于EP《Evanescence》的outtakes中，然而1998年当这张《Evanescence》EP正式发行时，却意外地删除了这首作品。

　　正式对外发行的版本，收录于2000年的《Origin》专辑中，主唱Amy Lee修改了副歌高潮的旋律及歌词，全曲采用钢琴伴奏。

　　2003年这首歌更是以豪华单曲碟重发《My Immortal》(Maxi-Single) ，同年发行的《Live In Cologne》演唱会大碟以及《Fallen》专辑中也收录该曲。

　　之后发行的数个版本主要是副歌采用提琴乐团伴奏，而正式版的音乐录影带在副歌高潮部分则采用重吉他与爵士鼓的摇滚风进行处理。

　　其后2004年6月发行的《Le Nouveau Gothique(The Best Hits)》专辑与同年11月发行的《Anywhere But Home》专辑同样无一例外地收录该曲。足见Evanescence对于这首作品的挚爱。而每场Live演唱会，主唱Amy Lee更是钢琴自弹自唱《My Immortal》，引来现场副歌和声的壮丽场景。
